Your privacy is very important to me, and I treat your data with the same care and respect with which I treat my own. I am bound by the professional code of ethics of the ICF (International Coaching Federation).
All Coaching/Mentoring sessions and e-mail communication are held strictly confidential and will not be divulged to any third party, unless ordered by a court of law.
I do not sell or otherwise provide the information I collect to any outside third parties.
I use the data you provide to me only for the purposes of connecting with you in the capacity of the service you have agreed to, and the context in which you have provided it. For example, I will not use any contact details to sign you up for a newsletter if you came to me for a coaching service. Data used for processing payment is held with the processing parties - e.g. PayPal and Stripe, as provided by yourself. Please note that I need to retain certain information for record-keeping purposes and/or to complete any aforementioned transactions. Likewise, I ask for your name and email address (phone number is optional) when you schedule a session with me through Acuity, my online scheduling platform. This way you receive scheduling confirmations and I can also reach you via email.
Below will inform you in more detail of the information that simonereeves.com registered in Switzerland under CHE-285.775.441 may collect from you, and how it is used. If you have any questions or concerns whatsoever, please do contact me.
In more detail…
The GDPR requires that I have lawful bases for processing all information.
I collect personal information from you before any coaching relationship exists, and throughout our coaching relationship. I only collect information if and when you choose to provide it to me.
For example, I ask you for your name and email address when you sign up to my mailing list along with explicit consent. Any email marketing messages I send are in accordance with the GDPR. I provide you with an easy method to withdraw your consent (unsubscribe) or manage your preferences / the information I hold about you at any time. See any marketing messages for instructions on how to unsubscribe or manage your preferences, or click here to unsubscribe from my newsletter MailChimp list.
I may also collect information from you through questionnaires. These may include intake forms submitted through Acuity, and online web forms for feedback (which you can submit on this site and go through Typeform). In all of these cases, you always choose how little or much to share to share in the answers you provide to me.
If we begin a working relationship that includes any diagnostic tools (e.g., the Team Leader View), these are administered through a portal on the parent website which is password-protected. Your results belong to you, and nobody else sees them apart from me who downloads them to share with you.
The security of your personal information is very important to me. I use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology on this website, an encryption tool that provides security while transmitting information over the Internet. I also follow generally-accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to me, both during transmission and once I receive it. However, while I strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, you should be aware that 100% security with electronically-transmitted information is not possible.
I am obligated to protect your personal information by making reasonable security arrangements against such risks as unauthorized access, use, collection, disclosure or disposal. Security measures have been integrated into the design, implementation and day-to-day operating practices of my business as part of my commitment to protect the personal information I hold.
This extends to the safeguards in place surrounding virtual coaching sessions, which are conducted on Zoom. All of these sessions are end-to-end encrypted. You can learn more about Zoom's security and privacy technologies here.
In addition to the collection of your personal information, I may take notes during sessions to allow me to best serve you. I may keep these notes in a password protected account on Evernote in order to serve you in future sessions. Any additional and/or unnecessary notes are shredded after our session.
